about
"5 swimmers. The swimming pool is at a Las Vegas casino fountain, with pulsing sprays that go high into the air, falling down to the water.
As we, the swim team, thought might happen, there was almost an incident with a swim suit coming off, but the team recovered nicely during their routine in the water.
But then, when they heard the signal to end their routine, and come out of the water, they were having so much fun, we had some difficulty in bringing it all to an end. But finally managed to end it. :)
This piece of music is an example of how an idea starts out, evolves, and deteriorates. But having fun doing it.
I started with an elaborate design with track assignments for these elements: water, fountain, spray, swimmers.
I created 13 pieces of music, then trimmed them to select the passages from them that I wanted in my final work.
Alot of the original vision was lost, so I tried for something coherent that made musical sense, that at least somewhat suggests a water environment, and also was enjoyable to listen to.
What you'll be hearing is one "final" version is panned to the left (not a hard pan), and one "final version" is panned to the right (not a hard pan), with some additional fresh new material added at the very beginning, and at the very end."
